On a four day road trip from south Spain to north France to collect some belongings… Night 1 staying by chance in Valdepenas, home of the Spanish wine denomination of the same name. Got a bottle of a good Valdepenas on the go in our hostal room and about to explore the town. Always wondered what the town on the label was like, now going to find out. Love inland Spain, it’s shabby and friendly, unpretentious and sociable. Vamos!
